Monday Morning

So I sit at my desk thinking of all the things I must accomplish by Thursday night.  Going on Vacation can't wait.  First to the cottage without the kiddies for a weekend of ma-ham.  Then off to Niagara for a wonderful week with Mommy dearest and the children for a wonderful adventure.  Can't wait!  But in the mean time, a pile of laundry awaits my tending, also have a pampered chief party to attend tonight, plus I have to make sure the kiddies are ready to leave on Thrusday.  O the joys of motherhood.  Going to be a busy week!  I'm ready, just won't be able to read too much this week.

So on to the book.

Well I go a kick out of this book. A little unbelievable if you ask me in terms of Garrick grabbing Eleanor and kissing her while she robbing him... then the time passing... But overall I can disregard that because come on it's a book.  I think the characters were well developed.  I got a good sense of who they were.  But again the back and forth of her not telling him about her feelings and him not telling her his.  Typical.  But overall I did like the book.  A quick read for sure.

Looking forward to the weekend.

I am currently on a kick right now with regards to historical romance.  I know it has nothing to do with vampires and all.  But wowwie Loving this genre right now.  I am reading Wicked Rake, Defiant Mistress 

So far the book opens with Garrick Le Clere, Marquess of Beauworth, traveling in a carriage then he is held up at gun point by a masked women.  Ha ha big surprise she will be the main character.  All and all I do love it.  I beleive I will have in done by toomroow night.  In the mean time......


I have a play to go to tonight.  Regrets Only by Paul Rudnick my friend Heather is playing in it! Can't wait.

Summer Time Bliss

Ok, so I have been really bad in reporting back here. But lets face it the weather is wonderful.  I'd much rather be outside then in the stuff house on the computer.  So I finished Candace Camp's - A Gentleman Always Remembers

Loved it.... Loved it..... Loved it!

Eve was a wonderful character.  I loved how she tried to keep Fitz away but just couldn't.... Who could I ask you?  I thought it was very funny at the end to find out Pricilla didn't even want to marry him.... I kinda figured that was coming so go Lily!  Can't wait to read the next one.  But I am on to a Rake for now.

In terms of family life, oh the crazy kids are always keeping me on my feet.  Little man is as precocious as ever, likes to climb and hang on things..... surprisingly he has yet to fall off anything mind you.  Snow white my daughter just got her hair cut.... looks gorgeous as ever!  Love the do.  We go to the fun fair tonight for school.  Kinda like a horse and pony ride, jumping castle etc.  The kids tend to like it....

Tomorrow my girl friend is debuting in her new play Regrets Only by Paul Rudnick.  Can't wait.  She always does a fab job.  She is quite the Actress.  School is almost over and vacation is around the corner Can't Wait!

Finally some sunny warm weather

Ok, so I know I am taking a while reading my book Discovery of Witches.  But it is a long book.  Having said that I've been super busy with my little man and little girl.  It's been a very busy couple of weeks.  But I should be done the book very soon only about 25 pages.  That's it for now.

Happy Monday All

So my daughter was a birthday party last weekend and the mother was nice enough to send home to all the children their pictures showing what they were up to.  Imagine my surprise opening the envelope.

My Kid is so brave, I give credit for trying new things especially things that involve creepy, webby, crawly ones.

So the book I am reading A Discovery of Witches by Deborah Harkness.  Really is good.  Loving it! Review to come shortly.

Pancake Tuesday

Ode to Pancake Tuesday.  Just love it.

I am taking both my children and myself and high tailing it over to our Catholic School for some good eating.  Plus I don't have to cook.... Bonus!!  So as promised I will post my book review tonight.  It was a very busy weekend.

I went to see "Just Go With It" with a girlfriend of mine.  I liked it.  It was quite funny. Synopsis: a plastic surgeon, romancing a much younger schoolteacher, enlists his loyal assistant to pretend to be his soon to be ex-wife, in order to cover up a careless lie. When more lies backfire, the assistant's kids become involved, and everyone heads off for a weekend in Hawaii that will change all their lives. Adam Sandler, Jennifer Aniston, Nicole Kidman.  For sure Girls Movie.

Friday Oh Yeah

Ok so it's Friday.  Wow what a week.  I will be finished reading my book tonight "Maybe This Time - By Jennifer Crusie". Can't wait to review tonight.

So what's new... hmm Going to girl weekend Saturday.  My girl friend is cooking us a 5 course meal.  She loves to cook.  And I love to eat.  Wonderful!  There will be 5 of us.  We will probably retire to the hot tub for drinks.. Oh dear... Should be good times.

March will it be lion or lamb?

Ok so here it goes... went to the gym last night. My gym Fitness Force.  It is open 24 hrs and I love it.  I can put my ear phones in and go to it.

Just had to blow that steam off.  Had a great time doing it too.  Started on the tread mill running my little butt off for 15 mins then on to the rotation of equipment.  by the time I was done with my legs I was happy to get on to the arms.... Then on to sit-ups did 52 of those before my tummy decided too much.  Then the crunch machine...Oh did it feel good.  Then I finished with the bike and biked my little heart out for 10 mins and ended.  A total of 1 hr and 5 mins....  I am such a good girl.  I can't wait to see what my Wii says.... I gotta be getting somewhere with that little bugger.

As for my reading I am chopping along at this book Maybe This Time by Jennifer Crusie I do really like it so far.... but I'm at a point right now where there should be something happening soon!  On a second note I just love my Pandigital Reader!  Everyone has to get an ereader.

Now I can fit most of my books on my bookshelf now.  Then I only buy the books that I really enjoyed and buy them in hard cover.  But with the upcoming box sale at the Book depot... I don't know if I can hold it together.  I love books!





Ok who's been watching Spartacus: Blood and Sand? and how did I miss it?  I have been watching it on the movie network under series.  Holy molly those men are HOT!  I would love to tumble with them any day! 













This is a series I can really sink my teeth into.  It's got blood, sex, Hot men, war, fighting sweating men, oh yeah love this!  Now look at these pictures... now tell me those yummy men don't make you want for MORE?

New Book reading

I have finished reading Bite me if you can by Lynsay Sands.

It was a very good.  Love It!  I think it is because it was about Leigh and Lucian Argeneau.  Lucian seems like the meanest son of a gun going.  But with Leigh by his side he's like butter.  Oh to be be in love in the beginning.  I remember it well.  Imagine being in love like these guys as lifemates....  I gotta say this book was hot on the meter scale.  A good read, kept me turning the pages.


I am now switching up my genre of reading.  I am reading a book by Jennifer Crusie called Maybe This Time.  So far it has kept my attention with promises of ghost and weird things happening in the book.  So far I find the back a forth between Mr. North (X hubby to Andie ) and Andie very interesting dynamic. 

So far the kids are just weird and the child Alice is all too annoying but good for some interesting reading.  The nanny Mrs. Crumb has something up her sleeve I just don't know what yet.  I seem to be at a point in the novel where things will start to pick up. Andie is bringing in the workmen, cleaners and Mrs. Crumb doesn't seem to think this is a good idea.  We shall see.

On the family Point we had a great weekend.  Little man got his booster shots.  The first one went well the second not so much.... He has a terrible bruise on his leg now.  My Kiersty-boo went to the movies with her friend Friday night and saw Gnomeo & Juliet.  She really liked it.  She's 8 so seemed to be a good pick.  Then Saturday off to a birthday party for one of friends... I picked her up at four and she had your typical pizza, cake and pop, then on picking her up complained of a headache.  Well on the way home I stopped to pick up a coffee at Timmy's.  When I came back to the car poor Kiersty-boo barfed her guts out.  Poor thing.  So off home we went and tried to have a lay-low day.  Sunday luckily was much better and filled with crazy kids.

Todays Family Business

So my son has a little bit of a fever.  So mom is taking him to the doc's tonight at 8:15pm.  Thank goodness for a doctor that stays open a little later one day a week.  I think combined with his teeth, snot, drooling, he has an ear infection.  Since Family weekend is around the corner I figured it would be a good idea to figure the little man out now then wait till the last minute and cancel the weekend plans.

I have a girl so having a boy is new to me.  It's funny when you hear people say men are like babies when they are sick.... Well it's true.  My little guy was coughing last night and had a bit of fever then too.  Well calling the babysitters today she confirmed he just wanted to be held.  Poor little guy.

Now because of all the drama of that last night... I'm tired.  But still enjoying the last few pages of my book today.  I don't know if I'll actually start to do reviews.  But I will definitely put stars beside them if I liked them or not.


I will have a new story to tell you tomorrow.  It involves a crazy cousin I have.  Love her to death... but the stories...

I'll leave you with this thought.... Mothers don't get time to sleep when babies are sick, but they love to cuddle so I'm ok with going on a couple hours.

Looking Forward Too
Family day is coming up this weekend and we are all planing to go to the cottage with Maureen & Dave.  I can't wait.  Kiersten is bringing Alexxa and Colton is coming himself.  Kiersten can't wait and wants to go in the Sauna.  We always have a great time there.  First time going in the winter.

God I have nothing to do at work right now.  Everyone is at a Sales meeting.
